The Fish Bowl

The goal of this creation is to capture two contrasting worlds – man’s turbulent world versus the natural peace and co-existence of nature. This unique engraving takes us underwater to view life from nature’s perspective.

Above, man’s world, a sea is raging, tossing and turning, restless and potentially violent. Sean depicts this in a sharply scalloped top,

Below, is a picture of tranquillity, harmony and ecology – nature defined. Dolphins and turtles swim, and stark plumes of coral wave in the swirling currents. In the background, small shoals of fish forage. This unique piece took over 35 hours to engrave.
